Ashleigh Smith named producer for Kyle & Jackie O

Ashleigh Smith has secured a new gig as a producer on KIIS 106.5 Breakfast.

The Kyle & Jackie O Show has secured her services after Ash spent almost six years working at Southern Cross Austereo.

Most recently her role was as executive producer on Hit106.9 Newcastle’s Breakfast show Nick, Jess & Simon.

She was also nominated for Best Show Producer – Entertainment/Music at the 2018 ACRAs.

“I started in radio as a street teamer in 2013 and I’m so grateful for everyone who helped me get to where I am today,” Ash told Radio Today.

“I’m super pumped to be joining the incredible producing team at the Kyle and Jackie O!”

She got a big send-off from Hit Newie this morning, as Nick, Jess and Simon wished Ash farewell with an awesome tribute song on-air.

Ash starts her new role on Monday, March 11.
