Announcer Lyndsey Marie wins Voice Tracker of the Year

Staff Writer

Voicetracker Hub has awarded US-based announcer Lyndsey Marie the title of Voice Tracker of the Year.

She was awarded the top prize by a panel of judges including by Australian-based programmer and consultant Ronnie Stanton, MD of RCS UK Jon Early, national BBC presenter, talent coach and agent Sam Walkern and US radio guru Joseph Cristiano.

Voicetracker Hub spent the last few months hosting a global search for the world’s greatest voice tracker, before settling on Lyndsey.

Lyndsey can be heard on 93x in Minneapolis, and WFTK 96 Rock in
Cincinnati, among many other shows.

“Love the energy and her attitude fits in perfectly with her station
format,” said Ronnie of her entry.

“Keeps it live and local sounding.”

Sponsored post?? Why would Ronnie pin his name to this, it’s actually bad. the abrupt fade up at 12 seconds ? Too many printed out bits from the web and not enough callers or engagement. i guess you can’t get callers patched through to a cupboard? I kind of hear a lot of little mini ‘look at me’ segs with music, not a music shift. But then again – that’s VOICE TRACKING!

The fact the industry has an award for this is such a shame.
