Andrew ‘Cosi’ Costello & Rebecca Morse tipped for Hit107 Breakfast

Andrew ‘Cosi’ Costello and Rebecca Morse could be the new hosts of Hit107 Adelaide Breakfast, while outgoing host Angus O’Loughlin may also have secured a new gig.

Hit107 announced the impending departure of its Breakfast team Amos, Cat and Angus today, with speculation already turning to their potential replacements.

SCA head of content Gemma Fordham cited a “shift in our target audience” as part of the decision to end the show.

Adelaide Now is reporting that TV personalities ‘Cosi’ Costello and Morse could be set to join the show after the current team finish up next month.

Cosi is the host of Channel 9’s South Aussie With Cosi, was a contestant on The Biggest Loser and previously worked on Triple M Adelaide.

Morse is an experienced radio and television presenter, current with Ten Eyewitness News and previously co-host of SAFM’s ‘The Newsfeed’ with Ryan Burgess.

SCA declined Radio Today’s request for comment on the possibility of Cosi and Morse joining Hit107.

As for the old Breakfast trio, an industry source tells Radio Today that Angus’s next destination could be Melbourne and  with Ash London on Nights at SCA.

The duo currently to host a Saturday evening show together, now called Trending 20 (previously VEVO 20 and the Shazam Top 20).

Meanwhile Amos Gil also announced he had signed a new management deal and is moving to the US to further his stand-up comedy career, while Cat Lynch has flagged a desire to go travelling overseas.
