Adelaide Breakfast duo David & Will’s ‘Undie Drive’ a success

Staff Writer

South Australians have shown up in their support of FIVEaa Breakfast presenters David & Will’s ‘Undie Drive’.

The initiative ran for three weeks with the on-air pair encouraging listeners to donate new underwear for the benefit of charities of Hutt St Centre and Catherine House.

An outdoor broadcast in Adelaide’s Victoria Park marked the end of a successful fundraiser with David commenting, “We are positively groaning under the weight of bras, jocks and undies…a big thanks to everyone involved.”

The drive coincided with National Homelessness Week with the drive to raise supplies and awareness of those sleeping rough in South Australia.

Jaylee Cooper, fundraising and events manager from Catherine House and Michelle Tobin, marketing and fundraising manager from the Hutt St Centre were both ecstatic by the support of FIVEaa, and the generosity of the South Australian public.

“The donations today will ensure that we continue to support those who are doing it tough in our community,” said Cooper and Tobin.
