91.9 Sea FM announces new Breakfast host

Former Assistant Editor

Having lost Jess Eva to Triple M Sydney recently, 91.9 Sea FM has now announced a replacement Breakfast host.

Heidi Latcham is set to be BarRat’s new partner on the show, bringing with her extensive experience on both radio and TV.

She’s previously worked at Star 106.3 FM and is excited to return to her home town on the Sunshine Coast.

In addition, Heidi is a contestant on this season of Married At First Sight.

“I’m so happy to be home on the Sunshine Coast, I am still a “Buderim Mountain State School Old Girl” at heart!” she said.

“I get to do my dream job in my dream town! I plan on having sand in my hair every day.”

“I’m pumped Heidi’s joining us, she’s a Sunny Coaster, has a fantastic, positive energy about her,” added BarRat.

“She’s also a non-drinker which gives me something to try and crack within week 1”.

“It’s been an exhaustive search, and thanks to everyone podcasting you can literally listen to everyone’s airchecks!” said group content director Rod Brice.

“There is some outstanding talent across Australia and Heidi was a standout with great radio and life experiences and incredible local knowledge. A great match for BarRat and the Sunshine Coast.”

The new show starts from Monday, February 11.

Hi Heidi!

Interesting to watch MAFS. All the best for the future. While no one is innocent, you readily admit this. I think that sadly, Mike is too immature for you. Thinking of him shutting your early conversation down at the beach; getting take away tea (but not for you); the towels – why would he??; esp the last date on the sailing boat – was about him, not you. I mean, he was up the mast, leaving you alone… ; and not doing what you both agreed to, at the dinner party, and thinking he had done no wrong… There were other things. The last episodes arent aired yet, but Im surprised at the final proposal, that he said Yes – I thought he was going to walk, and that you would definitely say NO!! But I understand the connections.

You are correct when youve said that you both were not on the same page. But no one is perfect. Im too old to be your ideal – that is not my intent in writing. My agenda is supporting you, nothing more. All the best for the future.

Kindest Regards

Steve
