5MMM exec attacked with hammer

A senior executive at Triple M Adelaide has been admitted to hospital with head injuries after being attacked with a claw hammer on the steps of the radio station.

The executive went to the reception area of the station to speak with the man, who was making a complaint at 3pm on tuesday. The actual attack took place after they had stepped outside to continue the discussion on the front steps.

The executive was taken to hospital and treated for a wound to his head, however has now been released.

The attacker was wearing a black leather bomber jacket, a WWII German style helmet and aviator sunglasses, and escaped on a mountain bike.
