4KQ Monopolizes Brisbane

A new Brisbane version of the popular board game Monopoply is out and Brisbane’s 4KQ has its very own spot on the board at the Community Chest.

4KQ’s Laurel and Gary were at the official launch in South Bank with the Brissy Lord Mayor and Mr Monopoly himself to announce all 22 Brisbane landmarks that were selected to replace the famous London streets from the original board.

4KQ’s Content Director Barry Drinkwater said: “As Brisbane locals, we are honoured to have our official spot on the official Brisbane Monopoly Board alongside many other world-class landmarks and buildings that our beautiful city has to offer.

“We are proud of our position on the board’s ‘Community Chest’, symbolising our connection with our listeners in the community whom we feel privileged to bring the local news, current affairs and entertainment to each day.”
