FBi Radio has announced the nominees for the 2018 FBi Sydney Music, Arts & Culture (SMAC) Awards.

The awards have been held since 2008, celebrating the best in Sydney’s music, art and culture, with previous winners including Cloud Control, The Preatures, Sarah Blasko, Body Type, Rainbow Chan, Ben Marshall and Angela Goh.

Once again the awards will celebrate Sydney’s best and brightest musicians, artists, performers, restaurants and events.

Nine categories will be awarded, and of course, the SMAC of the Year Award will also be presented to a person who has made a singular contribution to Sydney’s cultural vitality this past year.

The winners will be announced at a ceremony at Carriageworks on Tuesday, February 26, and also broadcast on FBi 94.5.

Performers for the ceremony will be announced soon.
